About Delta Zeta

History

Delta Zeta Sorority was founded at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1902.

 

Founders: Alfa Lloyd, Mary Collins, Anna Keen, Julia Bishop, Mabelle Minton and Anne Simmons

 

Local founding date: August 21, 1956

Service and Philanthropy



​A Time to Care



​Service to others is one of our core values that bonds Delta Zeta members. Delta Zeta's national philanthropy supported by both collegiate and alumnae chapters, Speech and Hearing and Painted Turtle Camp. 





Painted Turtle Camp 

Delta Zeta is proud to partner with the Painted Turtle Camp, which is a part of Paul Newman's Hole in the Wall Camps for children with chronic and life threatening  illnesses. 

National philanthropies: The Starkey Hearing Foundation, Gallaudet University, House Research Institute, and the Painted Turtle Camp
